As you can probably tell from Facebook & our blog posts, we’ve been quite busy over here at Tender Heart! But, we need to stop for a celebration as we announce our employee of the 2nd Quarter: Shawn of the Grand Blanc Team!

When the quarantine and safety measures began, Shawn was one of the first people to assist with locating local resources for sanitizer, cleaning products, etc. She also sent her team members homemade earrings to brighten their quarantine days!
Shawn helped organize a video for her team to send to all of their Grand Blanc facilities to let their clients know they were thinking of them and she implemented an exciting new way to honor the veterans that Tender Heart serves.

Shawn’s favorite part of Tender Heart:
“When clients share stories and memories from their past sparked by the activity or craft that we are doing. I also love when we do music and clients either get up to dance or dance in their chairs. It makes me imagine what they were like when they were younger & it’s fun to see a different side of their personality.”

Shawn is a great example of someone who is caring and supportive of her teammates, the company and the residents she visits with each week. Congratulations Shawn!
